I organized a surprise hen party for my beautiful friend Shona. The hen party was a cupcake tea party, so it was all very lady-like, pretty and quirky. Everyone contributed by making cupcakes, muffins, sandwiches, fruit smoothies and all sorts, and I busied myself by making flags for cupcakes and I also made some bunting with my mum. Dad contributed some cute queen cakes and I stole some beautiful bright pink hydrangeas from our garden at home to decorate the table, so it was a real Ahern family affair! I was really pleased with how it all turned out – I think everything looked just gorgeous!
