The trailer for “Where The Wild Things Are” could possibly be my favourite trailer for a film EVER. If you don’t get a lump in your throat watching this, then I think you must be dead on the inside.
The reaction to the film itself, amongst my friends, has been fairly mixed. Some people felt it didn’t live up to the trailer or it wasn’t what they expected from a children’s film. I thought it was utterly wonderful though - it was imaginative, moving, scary, funny and it made me want to be a child again. How much more could you want from a film?!
And the soundtrack kicks ass too.
“This is all yours. You are the owner of this world.”
